1. Tell us about the clinic How many dental chairs does the clinic operate? What are you currently considering? Where are you in the journey?

2. Check the foundations Applicable clinic registrations, biomedical-waste arrangements, radiation permissions, fire/electrical safety evidence, and outsourced-service agreements are mapped and current. Patient registration, identification, assessment, treatment planning, consent, referral, education, billing, grievances, and record confidentiality follow defined processes. Hand hygiene, instrument processing, sterilisation checks, environmental cleaning, sharps, spills, needle-stick response, and biomedical-waste segregation are implemented and monitored. Dental materials, medicines, implants, emergency drugs, storage, expiry, traceability, equipment inventory, and maintenance are controlled through records. The clinic has workable emergency response, BLS capability, fire response, referral/ambulance arrangements, drills, incident reporting, and safe facilities. Staff credentials, job responsibilities, induction, role-based training, competencies, visiting-consultant records, and training evidence are maintained. The clinic controls its policies and SOPs, conducts internal reviews, tracks indicators, complaints and incidents, and closes corrective actions.
