Delete your data

You can ask Nous Hospital Consultants Pvt. Ltd. to delete personal information we control that is associated with your WhatsApp conversation, website enquiry, email, or other direct communication.

How to submit a request

1. Contact us from the relevant account. On WhatsApp, send DELETE MY DATA from the number connected to the conversation. Alternatively, email nousdoc@gmail.com with the subject WhatsApp Data Deletion Request.
2. Identify the records. Include your full name, telephone number with country code, email address if relevant, and whether the request covers WhatsApp data only or all personal information connected with your Nous enquiries.
3. Complete verification. We may reply to the relevant number or email address or ask for limited additional information to verify that the request is yours. Do not send an identity document unless we specifically explain why it is necessary.
4. Receive confirmation. We aim to acknowledge a request within 7 working days and complete a verified request within 30 days, unless applicable law requires another period or a permitted retention exception applies.

What we will delete

After verification, and subject to the exceptions below, we will delete or anonymise the relevant personal information in systems controlled by Nous. This may include:

• your saved contact details and communication preferences;
• WhatsApp identifiers, messages, attachments, and conversation records retained by Nous;
• website, email, tool, or project enquiry records linked to the request; and
• optional marketing or follow-up records.

Information we may need to retain

We may retain limited information where it is reasonably necessary for an active contract, payment or tax record, legal obligation, dispute, fraud prevention, security, or the establishment or defence of legal claims. We will restrict retained information to the relevant purpose and duration.

Residual copies may remain in protected backups until the normal backup cycle completes. Information that has already been irreversibly anonymised or aggregated cannot be linked back to you and may be retained.

Information outside our control

This process deletes information controlled by Nous. It does not delete:

• messages or files stored on your own device or another participant's device;
• information independently retained by Meta, WhatsApp, Google, a telecommunications provider, or another third-party service under its own policies; or
• records held by another organisation to which you separately provided the information.

You must use the privacy or account controls provided by those organisations to request deletion of information they control.

What happens next

Deletion may remove conversation history, enquiry context, saved preferences, or records needed to continue a service. If you contact Nous again after deletion, a new record may be created from that interaction.
