Expert Workshop on Hospital Planning & Designing (Dr. KB Sood)

INLEAD conducted a two days’ workshop for its HCA students (MBA Lateral) batch. The session was conducted by Dr. K B Sood, Managing Director – NOUS Hospital Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The major purpose of the session was to familiarize the students with the basic concepts of Hospital Planning and Designing. Dr. Sood had made the session interesting by sharing his experiences with the students. This gave the students the practical insight into the topic. Dr. Sood also shared the importance of patient safety while planning & designing the hospitals.

The session also helped students to get an exposure to the practicalities of the healthcare industry, what sort of challenges they may face in the real world (while working) and how to overcome them by applying the skills that they had learned in their theoretical sessions. Dr. Sood also shared a format of Hospital Design plan with the students and laid emphasis on the fact that all the processes need to be followed to build an intelligent building. The expert session was an insight in the field of Hospital Planning & Design with lots of real time examples and experiences.
